Pixie: Hi there! You can call me Pixie! I love all kinds of creative activities: writing songs and lyrics, doodling and hand-lettering, and filming and editing videos. I also love singing, the color yellow, and Buzz Lightyear. Lately, I’ve been really into the Marvel universe.

Vikky: Hello, bonjour, enchantée, hola! I’m Vikky from Paris, France! I’m the group’s “international representative.” In my spare time, I love editing videos, taking photos of others, and fangirling over idols — especially NCT! People often describe my personality as a classic extrovert, cheerful, and easy-going.
Vikky 韋喬薺：Hello Bonjour enchantée Holà~ 我是韋喬薺 vikky2k 來自法國巴 黎！在團內是國際擔當，平常喜歡剪輯影片、幫別人拍照、喜歡追星，尤其是 NCT！我的性格很多人說是大 E 人、傻大姐。 

LIN: I’m the leader, LIN. I rap and handle the dance rehearsals during our group practice sessions. I also have DJ skills! I love coffee, the beach, and the mountains. I’m a total “chill girl.”
粼粼 LIN：我是隊長粼粼，會 rap，也是平常團練負責舞蹈排練的，我還有一個 DJ 技能，愛咖啡、愛海邊、愛山上，chill girl 是我。 

XUXU: Hello everyone! I’m XUXU. Music is an indispensable part of my life. I started learning piano at age three and violin at four. I currently create original music and perform covers, and I’m also interested in trying my hand at acting. I look forward to sharing even better work with you all in the future!

Siena: Hi, I’m Siena. Besides singing and dancing, I love movies, anime, and cosplay. My favorite series is Attack on Titan. I’ve also been taking acting classes and recently filmed a series called Falling for an Alien Lover. It was my first time on a professional set, and I hope to see you all often as an actress in the future.
熙妍 Siena：嗨我是熙妍，除了唱歌跳舞以外還喜歡看電影、看動畫跟 cosplay，最喜歡的作品是《進擊的巨人》。也一直在學習表演課，最近參與拍攝 了一部影集叫做《愛上外星情人》，是我人生中第一次進劇組拍戲，希望以後可 以也常常以演員的身分見到大家。 

For those who have not heard your music before, how would you describe it to them? How would you finish the sentence “babyMINT is ___” or “babyMINT’s music is ___”?
對於那些之前沒聽過你們音樂的人，你們會如何描述你們的音樂？如果說“babyMINT是___”或“babyMINT的音樂是___”，你們會如何完成這句話？
Pixie: “babyMINT [is infinity; babyMINT is] everything.” If you have a preconceived notion of what a girl group “should” look like, we are a version of that, but one you’d never expect. 
品妡 Pixie：babyMINT = “∞“ = everything，總而言之，如果你覺得女團應該 是「那個樣子」，那我們就是你想的「那個樣子」的另一種你猜不到的樣子。

YUN: “babyMINT is like water;” we fit perfectly into any container and can take on any shape. I find our music hard to pin down; we experiment with all kinds of styles and constantly shift forms.

Please describe the meaning behind your fandom name!
請解釋一下你們粉絲名的意思！
All: “B.I.U.” stands for “Be Infinite and Unlimited.” Just like babyMINT, have the courage to do exactly what you want, because life is full of fun and interesting things. Don't let yourself be limited; the possibilities are infinite! We hope that those who listen to our music find the courage to chase their dreams and do what their hearts truly desire!
B.I.U.的意思是 Be infinite and unlimited. 就像 babyMINT 一樣勇敢的做自己想要做的事，因為人生有很多好玩有趣的東 西，不要被限制，可能性是無限的♾️！ 希望聽我們歌的人可以有勇氣去追夢，做內心最想要做的事！ 

What memories stand out to you the most from your time filming NEXT GIRLZ? What were your experiences like on that show, and did anything about the experience surprise you?
在拍攝《NEXT GIRLZ》期間，哪些回憶讓你們印象最深刻？你們在節目中的經驗如何？這段經歷中有什麼讓你們感到驚訝的地方嗎？
Pixie: What surprised me was discovering that the girl group experience is actually really fun. I loved the music production, as well as the choreography. The whole NEXT GIRLZ journey was truly magical. I had expected to be forced into performing girl group dances that weren't my strong suit, but instead, I ended up creating something incredible alongside the other girls and the teachers.
品妡 Pixie：驚訝的部分是覺得女團其實滿好玩的，因為我很喜歡 AF、零老師的 音樂製作跟小杜老師的舞蹈編排，其實《未來少女》這樣整趟下來真的挺奇妙 的，原本以為我要被迫跳自己不擅長的女團舞，但居然可以和一群女生和老師 們玩出一片不可思議。 

YUN: In the final episode, I wore a crown. During one rehearsal, it fell off, but I told myself I couldn't mess up, so I clamped it in my teeth and kept dancing! I ended up bleeding, but the final footage turned out great. It was funny, and the sound I let out in that moment actually fit the scene perfectly! Participating in the show made me realize that the glamour seen on screen is backed by countless hours of sweat and tears.
丞妘 YUN：最後一集的時候我的頭上有一頂皇冠，彩排的其中一次我的皇冠掉 下來，但那個當下我心想不能出錯！所以就用嘴巴咬著開始繼續跳，後面還流 血，但幸好最後的影片蠻有效果、蠻好笑的，還意外很適合那個時候吼出來的 聲音！也是因為參加這個節目才發現，原來在螢幕前面的光鮮亮麗，其實背後 真的都需要付出無數的汗水淚水。 

Vikky: I faced a lot of physical challenges while filming, [like] performing with a fever [and] getting a sudden nosebleed right before going on stage. Looking back, I’m proud of myself for not giving up and for giving it my all! I often re-watch our NEXT GIRLZ performances. Whenever I feel anxious or lost, seeing the version of myself from the very beginning reminds me why I love music and performing so much!
Vikky 韋喬薺：在錄節目時，身體發生了很多狀況，不管是發燒上台或是白天在 學校考試、上台前突然流鼻血，我自己回頭看為自己感到驕傲，沒有放棄、全 力發揮！我也會常常回去看我們在《未來少女》的舞台，有時候感到焦慮或迷 茫，看到最一開始走這條路的我，就會想起為什麼我這麼喜歡音樂跟上舞台！ 

LIN: [The memory that stands out the most] has to be the moment we got a perfect score! After receiving low scores time and again, I had gradually lost the joy of performing amidst the frustration of striving solely for mechanical precision and perfection. But in that moment, something clicked, and that realization became the core spirit of our group, making it more fun.
粼粼 LIN：應該還是拿到滿分的那個瞬間吧！一次又一次的低分，在挫敗裡漸漸 失去了舞台的樂趣，只有一味的整齊完美，直到那個瞬間，好像懂了什麼，也 成為了現在團體的核心精神——越來越好玩。 

XUXU: What stands out most is that I was preparing for the college entrance exam at the time, so balancing academics and work was a real dilemma. I struggled every day and felt immense pressure, but I made it through in the end. 
栩栩 XUXU：最印象深刻的就是那時候我正準備考學測，所以課業和工作需要兼 顧，真的很兩難，每天都在掙扎，感受到非常大的壓力，最後還是撐過來了。 

Siena: The show was a mix of pain and joy. In the moment, we could get really hung up on things; even tiny issues felt huge and significant to us. Those feelings of caring so deeply were precious. Looking back now, time flew by so fast [that] I wish I had enjoyed it a little more back then! Actually, no, the outcome we have now is the best one possible!
熙妍 Siena：節目時期其實就是痛並快樂著，當下可能會很卡在裡面，很小的事 情對我們來說都很大、很重要，那些在意的心情是很寶貴的。現在回頭看，我 覺得時間一下就過了，要是當時的我能夠再享受一點就好了！哈哈哈。 不，現在已經是最好的結果了。

“BOOOOOORING”

Pixie: I really enjoyed the vocal work and choreography for that track. The production process broke through boundaries I had set for myself; I tried things I thought I couldn't do or wouldn't even have considered, like being lifted up by five people and flipped a full 360 degrees in place while singing!
品妡 Pixie：吧，我在那首歌的聲音和舞蹈編排上都 很好玩，那首歌的製作過程又再次打破了一些我自己以為的框架，嘗試了很多 我以為自己做不到、甚至根本不會去想的事情，例如被一邊五個人扛起來原地 翻一整圈一邊唱歌 !

“i”

YUN: “i” really needed a powerful, full-bodied vocal to anchor it, so I played a pretty important role there. Each recording session took three hours, [and] it was hands-down the most exhausting song I’ve ever [had to record]! Luckily, the result turned out really cool. 
丞妘 YUN：〈i〉這一首歌剛好需要一個厚實的聲音撐著，所以我在這首歌擔任 了一個滿重要的角色，每一次進錄音室都要 3 個小時，是我有史以來錄過最累 累累累的一首歌！幸好結果很帥氣！ 

LIN: Here’s a fun fact about “i”: even though it seems like our most intense and aggressive track, it was actually the easiest one for me to perform out of all our songs. 
粼粼 LIN：〈i〉這首歌有一個 fun fact，就是雖然好像是最氣勢猛烈的一首歌， 但這首歌對我來說是所有 babyMINT 裡面最輕鬆的一首歌。

“I’m not perfect”

YUN: “I'm not perfect” is a track by the subunit I was a part of. The weather was amazing on the day of the shoot, [and] the sun was blazing! We were filming outdoors, so my outfit ended up almost completely soaked with sweat, and [we] even suffered from severe heatstroke the next day!
丞妘 YUN：〈I'm not perfect〉是我有參與的小分隊，拍攝那一天天氣很好，太陽超大！地 點也都在戶外，後來衣服整件幾乎都要濕掉了，隔天還大中暑！其他團員也是 哈哈哈！ 

“WIL:D”

Vikky: I have a French verse in “WIL:D”! It was fun to showcase my native language in a babyMINT song for the first time. It’s also our most laid-back track. The performance style is quite different from our previous ones, and I feel like I got to show my “French side.” 
Vikky 韋喬薺：在〈WIL:D〉裡我有一段法文 verse！第一次在 babyMINT 的歌展 現我的母語，很有趣，這首歌也是我們歌裡面最慵懶的一首，表演方向跟以往 的歌都不太一樣，我覺得在這首歌我展現了我法式的一面。

LIN: We actually re-recorded it. After the first take, the vocal coach said it was great and had exactly the right vibe, but I insisted on re-recording the whole thing. Since the lyrics are entirely in English, and it’s not my native language, I wanted every pronunciation to be near-perfect. With rap, clarity of expression is crucial, so I asked Vikky and the song's producer, Doreen, to help me identify areas for improvement.
粼粼 LIN：〈WIL:D〉的話這首歌其實重錄過一遍，第一次錄音老師說很棒、就是要這個感 覺，但錄完我就提出說我想要全部重錄，因為整個歌詞都是英文，對於母語不 是英文的我來說，我希望每個發音都需要近乎到完美的程度，畢竟是饒舌，表 達清楚很重要。所以後來我請 Vikky 還有這首歌的製作 Doreen 來幫我感受一下 哪些是可以更好的。

“Ocean Bomb”

Vikky: It remains one of my top three favorite babyMINT songs. It holds special meaning for me because it was the first time we received a perfect score on NEXT GIRLZ. Things didn't go smoothly in every episode at the start of the show, so getting that score meant a lot to me. I personally love that fresh yet playful vibe in the instrumental arrangement [and] the lyrics.
Vikky 韋喬薺：這首歌到現在還是我的前三 babyMINT 最喜歡的 歌！這首歌也有一個特別的含意，因為在《未來少女》節目裡是我們第一次拿 到滿分，我們在《未來少女》的開始不是每一集都很順利，最後拿到這個分數 對我來說很珍貴。我自己也很喜歡這種清爽卻帶著好玩的元素，不管是在 instrumental 或歌詞。 

Siena: Its UKG style feels so comfortable. It’s one of the few songs of ours that has a more laid-back vibe! I’d actually heard an English demo of it before and fell instantly in love. It was the kind of song that could make me cry tears of joy when I was in a great mood. It’s so beautiful and naturally stirs up a surge of emotion. I still often play that version in private.
熙妍 Siena：ukg 的風格讓人很舒服，是我們少數可以聽起來比較輕 鬆的歌曲 lol，以前本來有聽過一個英文版的 demo，我直接愛上，心情很好的 時候會聽到哭的那種，太美了心情會不自覺跟著跟澎湃，我到現在還會常常私 下播來聽這個版本。 

“Hellokittybalahcurrihellokitty 美味しい”

LIN: There’s a hilarious video from the official recording session for the rap part of “Hellokittybalahcurrihellokitty 美味しい.” Sometimes, when recording rapid-fire rap for too long, the muscles in your mouth and throat get tense, and your performance suffers, so the producer told me to sing a big ballad instead to loosen up. I sang “Bubble.” Since another member was nearby without headphones on, she ended up recording a funny moment where I was singing “Bubble” with sudden, deep emotion, only to abruptly stop mid-song and start spouting rap lyrics.
粼粼 LIN：〈Hellokittybalahcurrihellokitty 美味しい〉的饒舌在正式錄音時有一個很好笑的 影片，有時候饒舌快嘴的錄音錄太久，喉舌肌肉會太緊繃，發揮到後面會沒那 麼好，於是製作人就叫我唱一下大歌，我就唱了〈泡沫〉，然後因為有成員在旁 邊，她沒有戴耳機，所以她就錄到一段我突然很難過的在唱〈泡沫〉，然後也沒 唱完就瞬間突然開始亂噴饒舌很好笑的畫面。 

XUXU: I was responsible for the rapid-fire rap sections in “Hellokittybalahcurrihellokitty 美味しい,” and there were moments during recording where my tongue got tied in knots. 
栩栩 XUXU：在唱〈Hellokittybalahcurrihellokitty 美味しい〉的時候我是負責帶 動唱的快嘴，當時錄的時候真的舌頭有那麼一度在打結。 

Siena: This song is incredibly important to me, because it was my debut track. At the time, I was ranked dead-last on the show, so for the next song, the producer decided to just throw caution to the wind, figuring things couldn't possibly get any worse. In the end, we pulled off a turnaround and achieved our best result yet. Just like our lyrics say, “Since we’re all going to die someday, why not do what we want to do right now?” I’m so happy we did this together. That whole experience was a rollercoaster ride [and] truly unforgettable for me! 
熙妍 Siena：美味しい〉，這首歌對我來說 很重要，因為是我第一次亮相的歌曲，當時節目上的名次墊底，下一首歌製作 人決定搞砸這一切！反正不能更差了，結果逆轉得到了最好的成績。 就像我們的歌詞說的：「既然我們有一天都會死掉，做想做的事情何不趁現 在？」很高興我們一起做了這件事情。那次的心情就像雲霄飛車，對我來說真 的太難忘了！

Siena on “BB Gals of the Galaxy”: The weird sounds at the beginning were all recorded by accident. I messed up a take and made some odd noises, and the producer said, “That actually sounds pretty good!” It’s super cute. I absolutely love it.
熙妍 Siena：還有〈心悸寶貝 BIUBIU〉，開頭有很多怪聲音全部是意外錄進去的，因為我唱 錯然後發出怪聲音，製作人說：「好像不錯欸可以用。」然後就出現在歌曲裡面 了，超可愛，我超喜歡。 

Out of all of your music videos, which one was the most fun to film, and why?
在你們所有的音樂錄影帶中，哪一支的拍攝過程最有趣？為什麼？
Pixie: “BB Gals of the Galaxy”! The set they built made it feel like I was actually on the moon. Our instructor/director, AF, had us experiment with a lot of different visuals, and the final result turned out really fun and beautiful. Another reason I loved it was that we were in a studio. We could run around and see everyone else without the hassle of traveling between locations. I really loved the feeling of us all being together!
品妡 Pixie：我最喜歡〈心悸寶貝 BIUBIU〉！！！因為 MV 現場搭的景彷彿我真 的在月球？AF 老師兼導演帶我們玩了很多畫面，最後的效果也很好玩很漂亮。 啊！也有一部分很喜歡，是因為我們在棚內，可以跑來跑去看別人，不用辛苦 轉點，喜歡大家都在一起的感覺！！！ 

YUN: I vote for “BB Gals of the Galaxy.” What left the deepest impression was the dance sequence. We were dancing on a huge pile of sand, so the next day, the mucus I blew out was black! Our bodies were covered in a fine layer of gray dust, too. It was terrifying! But it was funny how we kept accidentally eating sand. 
丞妘 YUN：我投〈心悸寶貝 BIUBIU〉一票，印象最深刻的就是我們拍攝跳舞橋 段，但是因為在一堆沙子上面跳，所以拍攝完隔天擤鼻涕裡面都是黑的！身體 也都微微灰灰的，超級嚇人！但很有趣大家一直吃到沙子。

LIN: The entire setting for “BB Gals of the Galaxy” was within babyMINT's own universe. It felt like a trip to an amusement park. It was so dreamy, with sand covering the floor. Combined with the choreography, we were literally playing in the sand — and eating it too!
粼粼 LIN：〈心悸寶貝 BIUBIU〉場景整個在屬於 babyMINT 的宇宙裡，像去遊樂
園玩一樣，很夢幻，還有滿地的沙子，加上舞蹈，我們真的在玩沙子，還有吃 沙，哈哈哈。 

Siena: I also really love “BB Gals of the Galaxy”! We shot it in a virtual studio. The art department put so much detail and [many] clever touches into the set design. It was beautiful. It featured so many of the interstellar elements I love. Paired with this song — a favorite of mine — there was truly a moment where I felt like I was soaring through the cosmos or dancing on another planet.
熙妍 Siena：我也是很喜歡〈心悸寶貝 BIUBIU〉哈哈哈，我們是在虛擬棚拍攝 的，美術組的造景很多細節跟小巧思，很漂亮。太多我喜歡的太空、星際元素 了，配上很喜歡的這首歌，真的有那麼一瞬間感覺像是在宇宙裡翱翔、在其他 星球上跳舞的感覺。 

XUXU: I really love “I’m not perfect.” It was incredibly hot on the day of the shoot — enough to risk heatstroke — but the entire crew was so kind to us. It was also a huge coincidence that we filmed at my university, the National Taiwan University of Arts, so it left a really strong impression on me.
栩栩 XUXU：很喜歡〈I’m not perfect〉，當天拍攝是真的很熱，會中暑的那種 程度，但所有的工作人員都對我們超級好，剛好很巧的是在我正在就讀的大學 「台灣藝術大學」拍攝 ，印象非常深刻。 

Vikky: “BOOOOOORING.” This was our first [music video] and my first time ever shooting one. Acting and having fun with the other members was great. Even though I was so tired on set that I could barely keep my eyes open, the whole process was a blast. We were all learning and experiencing what it’s like to shoot a music video for the first time. It was also the [video] that introduced us to the world, showcasing each of our unique charms! Plus, since I grew up in France, I never wore a school uniform; [the video] gave me the feeling of hanging out with school friends!
Vikky 韋喬薺：〈BOOOOOORING〉，這個是我們的第一個 MV，也是我第一次拍 MV，跟團員一起演、一起玩，那時候在現場雖然真的累到眼睛張不開了，但現 在回想那一支 MV 的過程真的很好玩，我們都在學習中，都在體驗第一次拍 MV 的感覺。也是第一個亮相的 MV，把我們每一個人的個人魅力展現出來！而且 因為我在法國長大，我從來沒有穿過校服在學校裡面，有一種我跟學校朋友一 起玩的感覺，哈哈哈哈哈！ 

Do you plan to release a new EP or full album in the near future, or will you continue focusing on releasing singles instead?
你們近期有發行新EP或完整專輯的計畫嗎？還是會繼續專注於單曲發行？ 
Pixie: Hahaha, take a guess! This year’s three new singles and the “side quest” projects have revealed even more facets of babyMINT to everyone, and it seems there’s still plenty more fun in store. 
品妡 Pixie：哇哈哈哈，你們猜！今年的三支新單曲和支線任務又讓大家看到了 babyMINT 的另外幾種面向，接下來好像還有很多沒玩到的唷。

YUN: New projects are currently in the planning stages! We’ll keep working hard during this time, including on our individual plans. We hope to present even more great work to everyone!  
丞妘 YUN：新的作品都還在陸續規劃中！這段時間我們也會繼續努力，也一併 在進行個人的規劃，希望可以有更多好的作品呈現給大家！ 

Vikky: We released two subunit singles and one group single this year. We experimented with new styles and created some fresh sparks along the way. We hope to release even more fun and exciting songs in the future! If you want to stay updated on our latest plans, make sure to follow us on Instagram!

LIN: Releasing three singles this year was about exploring different formats and creative sparks to see what other possibilities exist for us, including on an individual level, so everything is still under discussion. In the near future, we’re focusing on bringing our performances to more regions and sharing our music with more people! 
粼粼 LIN：今年發了這三首單曲，算是在嘗試更多不同的形式和火花，感受一下 我們還有哪一種可能性，也包括個人的部分，所以一切都還在討論中，近期著 重在把表演帶到更多地區，把歌曲分享傳遞給更多的人！

XUXU: This year, we launched babyMINT’s individual “side quest” projects and released three singles, each with its own unique vibe. Please keep following us. We’ll be bringing you even better work in the future!

What is one goal as babyMINT that you have already accomplished and one goal you still have to work towards?
身為babyMINT，你們已經實現的一個目標是什麼？還有什麼目標需要努力實現？
Pixie: We pulled off a fantastic and truly joyful performance together in Tokyo! I was under a lot of pressure back then, but the day of the show was pure happiness! As for goals yet to be achieved, there are so many! Does going to a wild hot spring together as a group of six count?!
品妡 Pixie：一起在東京完成了一場很棒很幸福的演出吧！那陣子壓力很大，演 出那天也真的真的很幸福！還有什麼目標需要實現的話也太多了！！！！！想 六個人一起去野溪溫泉算嗎？ 

YUN: I feel like a goal we’ve already achieved is having so many fans by our side supporting and remembering us! A goal I hope to reach in the future is for babyMINT to hold our own solo concert! 
丞妘 YUN：我覺得實現的就是身邊有好多的粉絲們支持著我們，也被好多人記 住！我未來希望可以達成的目標是 babyMINT 一起辦一場專場演唱會！

Vikky: One goal we’ve already met is performing in many places and meeting fans from diverse cultures. We’ve been to Tokyo and Chengdu, and we’re getting ready to go to Vietnam! My goal moving forward is to hold a solo concert and perform in even more places to meet our B.I.U.s!
Vikky 韋喬薺：已經達到的一個目標是去很多地方表演見不同文化的粉絲，我們 去了東京、成都，也準備要去越南了！想達到的目標是希望我們可以開專場跟 去更多地方表演見 B.I.U.們！ 

LIN: Performing in Tokyo was a huge milestone for me. My next goal is to take our music even further — maybe to Europe or the U.S.?
粼粼 LIN：對我來說到東京表演是一個很大的里程碑，下一個目標希望可以把音 樂帶到更遠的地方，歐美？ 

XUXU: Going to Tokyo and Chengdu was a deeply moving and unforgettable experience for me. I still feel so happy thinking about it now. We successfully shared our music with people from different backgrounds. My ultimate goal is to travel to all sorts of places with babyMINT and bring our music to everyone. 
栩栩 XUXU：之前有去了東京和成都，對我來說真的很感動跟很難忘，現在想起 來都還是很幸福，也成功把我們的音樂帶給了不一樣的人們，我的終極目標就 是跟 babyMINT 們一起到所有不同的地方，帶給大家我們的音樂。

Siena: Just as everyone said, we performed in Tokyo and Chengdu and met fans from different lands. Seeing people love our music and watching us all try hard to express our feelings in each other's languages, I think that is such a beautiful thing. I hope we have more opportunities like this in the future to accompany everyone with our music and see you all again.
熙妍 Siena：如同大家說的，我們曾經去了東京跟成都表演，真正遇到來自另一 個土地的粉絲們，大家愛著我們的音樂、我們努力用著彼此的語言來表達心 意，我認為是一件很美很美的事情。 希望以後能夠有更多這樣子的機會，用我們的音樂陪伴大家，能夠再次見到大 家。 

Lastly, is there anything else you want to say about yourselves or your music?
