Photo courtesy of FNC Entertainment K-pop singer-songwriters P1Harmony just released a new collaborative single with British pop trio New Hope Club, titled “Super Chic”! Here’s what New Hope Club member George had to say about it: “We are very excited by the release of ‘Super Chic’ with P1Harmony… this is our first ever collaboration with a K-pop artist! Being creative with other artists has always been one of our favorite things, and P1Harmony were so great to work with. We can’t wait to get on stage and play this song for the first time.” Jiung from P1Harmony added: “It was a lot of fun getting to work with such great artists, and I’m very grateful that I made good friends out of this collaboration.” With New Hope Club’s sound’s roots in classic rock and P1Harmony’s roots in hip-hop and R&B, it was no guarantee that teaming up would result in a smooth blend, but “Super Chic” proved to be up for the challenge. The summer-ready, feel-good jam is a dynamic mash-up of both acts’ strong suits. New Hope Club get to flex their top-tier vocals, while P1Harmony deliver ad libs and raps with their trademark playfulness. “Super Chic” oozes likability and adds fun to any weekend playlist! Photo courtesy of FNC Entertainment “Super Chic” follows New Hope Club’s surprise opening set at P1Harmony’s New York show this past February. In addition to that show at Terminal 5, P1Harmony performed in similarly iconic U.S. venues this winter, such as the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville and the MGM National Harbour in Washington DC (which required adding seats to accommodate demand!). P1Harmony still have many live shows planned for 2023, and they will be in Canada and Latin America this summer: Sunday, July 9 — Vancouver, Canada Wednesday, July 12 — Toronto, Canada Friday, July 14 — San Juan, Puerto Rico Sunday, July 16 — Bogota, Colombia Wednesday, July 19 — Quito, Ecuador Friday, July 21 — São Paulo, Brazil Sunday, July 23 — Porto Alegre, Brazil Wednesday, July 26 — Santiago, Chile Friday, July 28 — Monterrey, Mexico Sunday, July 30 — Mexico City, Mexico Keeho shared his excitement about performing in Canada specifically with Teen Vogue: "The fact that I will perform a headline concert in my own hometown… is still something I cannot believe… It definitely will be a humbling and emotional show for me personally, and I'm glad that I will be able to experience that with the other members." In other P1Harmony news, they recently sat down with ABC News for the “Prime Playlist” series, which you can watch here! Catch up on past 17 Carat K-Pop P1Harmony coverage here!
