[We were] a group of music students coming together with ideas that were different from the society at that time. We've used this name from day one, because Jap loves Volkswagen cars. During the recording session, she did a great job with both the rap and melody. She was booked for three hours but finished in just over one hour; she was super fast and really professional. She's very sweet, friendly, and full of energy. She's easy to work with, and even though she's young, she has a lot of experience in singing, dancing, and rapping. Eio: The shooting of the “LIVE GIRL” music video was a lot of fun. We focused on syncing with the music, and as far as I can remember, I had to play the song on the drums 15 times to get the big, fun gestures right. Jorin recorded and filmed on a different day from the band. For the music, we started by thinking about the drum-and-bass genre, then we discussed it with the arranger to create the melody and Jorin's part. We chose to feature Jorin because she’s the main rapper of 4EVE and had used [our] song in an audition, and because Jap had worked with Jorin before. In the beginning, the music had a lot of punk and youthful energy, with a rush and a rockstar vibe. But in albums three and four, the punk style became less prominent, replaced by more harmonies and emotional variety, especially in album four. Punk is still present in some tracks, but the arrangements were revamped. Now, we have to update ourselves to connect with the new generation, because our old fans have grown up and moved on with their lives.
