“A Guide to the TXT Universe” is an episode with a self-explanatory title! From each member’s intro video to the “Blue Hour” music video, I break down the timeline of TXT music video plots, symbols, and messaging! Then I reveal my personal TXT music video theory that has to do with not just the “Blue Hour” music video but their entire discography! Hint: they constantly draw inspiration from a work of literature, and although some MOAs say it’s Alice in Wonderland, I argue they were more heavily influenced by a very different book!

This Week on How to Stan
The first installment in the “Betrayals” series of episodes is out now! It covers the rise and fall of JT Leroy, the teenage author who developed a massive fanbase worldwide and was eventually revealed to have been a fake persona. This episode goes inside the investigative reporting that led to the world discovering JT Leroy’s true identity, the ways the scheme was able to be carried out for so long prior to the reports being published, and the fallout among fans of Leroy’s work. The ultimate question this story brings up: how much can/should an artist’s work be praised when the artist is revealed to have told fans a series of elaborate lies?
